Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX, seeks an ECMO specialist to participate in developing a treatment plan, including assessment, planning, implementation, and education, while communicating with the ECMO physician and the care team to tailor the ECMO patient care plan.

A bachelor’s degree, completion of an ECMO training program, and appropriate licenses (RN with TX BON, or RRT with NBRC, or CCP) are required, along with BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• ECMO training program and/or formal education in Extra Corporeal Circulation.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of ECMO treatment plan and educate care team.
• Coordinate with ECMO physician and healthcare team to tailor patient care plan.
