Job summary

UF Health is seeking an experienced ECMO Specialist to oversee daily ECMO program operations, monitor circuit performance, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure patient safety across neonatal to geriatric populations.

The role involves collaboration with bedside nurses, management of blood products and medications, potential CRRT integration, and participation in transport, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with current Florida licensure as an RRT, or graduate of an accredited RN program with a Florida license.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ECMO program daily under the direction of the ECMO Coordinator.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ECMO circuit and related equipment.
• Ensure administration of blood products and medications is accurate and safe.
