Job summary

INTEGRIS Baptist Transplant in Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time RN Coordinator for the ECMO program. This role focuses on operating and managing the ECMO system, coordinating care across departments, and mentoring staff to ensure safe, effective ECMO procedures.

The ideal candidate will bring ICU or ED nursing experience, ECMO familiarity, and strong leadership abilities to support a comprehensive transplant ECMO service with CMS/JCAHO/ELSO standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of ICU or ED experience required
• Prefer 1 year of ECMO experience
• Clinical leadership and interpersonal skills to interact with medical staff and technical specialists

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource and consultant to staff to increase ECMO knowledge
• Assist in direct patient care by operating and managing the ECMO system
• Set up support systems according to case preferences and age appropriateness
• Troubleshoot ECMO equipment and maintain par levels of supplies
• Provide education and in-services on ECMO protocols to staff and affiliated providers
• Coordinate with Perfusion, Respiratory Care and other hospital services for coordinated ECMO program
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities
