Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center seeks an experienced ECMO specialist to participate in developing and executing ECMO patient care plans. You will coordinate with the ECMO physician and the care team to interpret and adjust treatments while educating staff and patients.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with ECMO training, Texas RN license or RRT/CCP certification, NBRC or CCP credentials, and a minimum of two years in a critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ECMO training program or formal education in extracorporeal circulation.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
• License: RN in Texas or RRT/ CCP licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing treatment plans including assessment, planning, implementation and education.
• Communicates with the ECMO physician and healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete ECMO patient care plans.
