Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an ECMO specialist to join the critical care team. The role involves developing treatment plans and coordinating with the ECMO physician and care team to interpret and implement ECMO patient care plans.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with an ECMO training program and relevant Texas licensure (RN/RRT/CCP) plus BLS and ACLS. A minimum of 2 years in critical care is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and ECMO training or equivalent.
• Texas RN license or RRT/CCP perfusion license; BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development, planning, and education of ECMO treatment plans.
• Communicates with the ECMO physician and healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete ECMO patient care plans.
