Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an ECMO specialist to participate in developing and executing treatment plans for ECMO patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and educate while collaborating with the ECMO physician and the healthcare team to tailor care to each patient.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and ECMO training or related extracorporeal circulation education, plus relevant licenses (RN TX BON or RRT or Certified Perfusion) and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Completion of ECMO training or formal education in extracorporeal circulation.
• Active licenses: RN (TX BON) or RRT or Certified Perfusion; BLS/ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of treatment plans for ECMO patients.
• Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and education.
• Communicates with ECMO physician and healthcare team for treatment adjustments.
