Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II ECMO Specialist to join the ECMO Team. You will work under the ECMO Nurse Manager, managing ECMO pumps and delivering goal-directed nursing care to ECMO patients and families.

The role requires a strong critical care background, licensure as a registered nurse or equivalent, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary ICU team to optimize patient outcomes. Shifts rotate to cover 24/7 ECMO care.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license (required) and eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience with ECMO systems and ICU coordination preferred.
• Strong collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Manage ECMO pump and related equipment.
• Provide individualized patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with bedside RN, physicians and ICU team.
• Monitor acid-base balance, oxygenation, ventilation and anticoagulation.
