Job summary

Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) seeks a seasoned Program Director to lead the Early Childhood Intervention program, coordinating staff, ensuring quality, and aligning services with HHSC ECI requirements. You will report to the Executive Director and collaborate across divisions and with local agencies to deliver services to enrolled children and families.

The role emphasizes staff development, program evaluation, grant compliance, budgeting, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; coursework in early intervention, developmental psychology, educational leadership, or program management
• Must have ability to plan, direct, and review the work of management
• Knowledge of organization and management
• Willingness to travel within the 11 counties

Responsibilities

• Lead, evaluate, and support ECI Program Staff
• Oversee implementation of the ECI Program work plan and ensure service delivery
• Coordinate staff development programs and trainings
• Prepare programmatic reports and monitoring
• Represent the agency in communications with HHSC ECI
• Coordinate among Service Divisions and local agencies
• Monitor expenditures and program income
• Ensure compliance with ECI policies and procedures
• Complete the ECI renewal application
• Communicate with state ECI personnel
• Manage timesheets, payroll, purchasing, and related documents
• Perform other duties as assigned
