Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking an Echocardiology Technician for a 13-week assignment at Oro Valley Hospital in Arizona. The shift is Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with call every other weekend.

Qualifications

Facility: Oro Valley Hospital, Oro Valley, Arizona

Position: CHS Travel: Echocardiology Technician / Radiology (919601)

Position Information: The EKG technician is primarily responsible for performing electrocardiograms (EKG’s) and holter monitor hookups and scanning. Responsibilities also include editing and filing all EKG recordings or cardiology records and appropriate billing of charges

8-Week Assignment

Shift 5/8's Mon - Fri --- 0800 -- 1630

On Call Every Other Weekend

Cerner experience not required

Requirements

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) - BLS and ACLS
• Registry eligible as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI credentialing

Preferred

• RDCS or RCS

Start: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days (M-F 7a-3:30p) with call

Requirements: Certification to CCI or ARDMS in transthoracic echocardiography must be attached to submission; housing must be secured with offer acceptance
