Qualifications

• Proficient in adult 2D echo with use of contrast agent.
• Experience with treadmill and dobutamine stressecho.
• Skills in transesophageal echo including setup and image acquisition.
• Proficiency in LV/RV strain analysis, diastology with TDI, PISA calculations, and EF measurements.

Position: Travel: Echocardiology Technician / Radiology

Position Information

Shift: 4/10's 0600 - 1630

Duration: 13 Weeks

On Call: Short call and long call divided up between staff to cover nights/weekends

The Echo traveler needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures:

1. Adult 2D echo
   • with use of contrast agent
   • bubble study
   • Post cardiac cath
   • Post surgical echo
   • assessment of pericardial effusion
   • pericardiocentesis imaging
   • calculating LV and RV strain
   • diastology with TDI
   • PISA calculations
   • Biplane measurements for EF
2. Treadmill stressecho: set‑up, resting and stress imaging
3. Dobutamine stressecho: set‑up, resting and stress imaging
4. Transesophageal Echo (TEE): set up, image acquisition, physician assistance
