Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program.
• RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures.
• Assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics.
• Execute common echocardiography procedures with proficiency.
• Perform ultrasound enhancing agent (UEA) echocardiograms.

Shift: 4 x 10 Mid Night

Weekend Requirement: Every other Sat/Sunday; Holiday as needed

Job Description

Performs diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with policies, values and mission of the organization. Responsible for commonly performed echocardiography procedures with consistent proficiency.

• Two dimensional transthoracic echocardiograms
• Exercise/dobutamine stress echocardiograms
• Agitated saline (bubble) studies
• UEA (ultrasound enhancing agent) echocardiograms

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program
• RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer
• AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification
