Job summary

Sage Health is seeking an Echocardiogram Technologist (PRN) to perform echocardiograms and related imaging in geriatric care settings within the Little Rock market. The role requires ensuring patient safety, image quality, and documentation compliance while traveling to centers as needed.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of experience, ARDMS RDCS or RCS, and proficiency with EHR systems. BLS certification and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• ARDMS RDCS or RCS certification.
• Experience with an electronic health record (EHR).
• 3-5 years in a hospital or medical facility.
• Willing to travel to centers within the market.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, positioning patients and equipment appropriately.
• Manage patient expectations and provide exam explanations.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment for diagnostic accuracy.
• Record and interpret measurements, comparing results to clinical norms.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and documentation accuracy.
• Travel to centers within the market as needed (car allowance provided).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
