Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an experienced echocardiography tech to perform comprehensive examinations including 2D, M-Mode, color and spectral Doppler, TEE, and stress echo. You will work under the non-invasive cardiology supervisor in a busy academic hospital environment.

Required credentials include an associate degree in echo or approved training, current BLS, and RDCS/ARDMS or RCS certification. ACLS is preferred, as is experience with Philips IE33/EPIQ and Epic.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program or accredited echo training program (preferred).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association required.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, PW Doppler, CW Doppler, TEE, and stress echo.
• Adhere to established standards and best practices with high technical quality.
