Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Supervisor for the Heart and Vascular Center's Echocardiography Lab. The role supervises staff, ensures protocol adherence, and mentors technologists across TTE/TEE and stress testing. The position collaborates with Non-invasive leadership to drive performance and quality improvements.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, a cardiac sonography background, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple campuses within the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related area.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited cardiac sonography program.
• Demonstrates supervisory skills and ability to train staff.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines in a complex environment.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular testing equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Supervises cardiac sonographers and monitors workflow across sites.
• Trains and mentors staff on new techniques and regulations.
• Ensures adherence to imaging protocols and quality measures.
• Collaborates with leadership to develop staffing and competency.
• Monitors patient flow, scheduling, and performance improvements.
