Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in North Texas is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to perform echocardiograms in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting. You will contribute to high-quality patient care and rely on ARDMS credentials.

Strong communication, collaboration with clinicians, and a commitment to patient experience are essential. BLS is required; ACLS preferred. This role is a PRN with 8-hour shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• ARDMS (AE and/or pediatric echo) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred.
• A pediatric echocardiography competency statement may substitute for ARDMS.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
