Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, an associate degree echo program or accredited training, ARDMS AE/PR, and BLS; ACLS preferred. Hours are 0700–1700, with flexible days and PRN shifts at our Richardson, TX location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
