Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Texas is seeking a qualified echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care. The role requires ARDMS in adult and/or pediatric echo or an approved substitute, along with a high school diploma and an accredited training.

BLS is required, ACLS preferred, and the position supports a PRN shift with standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
