Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center seeks a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with cardiology and imaging staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies and patient care.

The role requires ARDMS certification in AE and/or pediatric echo, LLS/ACLS preferred, and completion of an approved echo training program. A strong commitment to patient experience and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PE) required.
• Written statement from pediatric cardiologist may substitute ARDMS.

Your Job:
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
