Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform high-quality echocardiograms in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain ARDMS AE and/or pediatric echo credentials, and uphold safety standards with BLS on file. The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and ongoing professional growth within a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate degree echo program and/or accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (AE and/or pediatric echo) required.
• Pediatric echocardiography competency may substitute for ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Job Description

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
