Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day shift, full-time Echocardiographer in Pocatello, ID to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams and support patient care. The role emphasizes data collection, documentation, and collaboration with physicians during procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include managing resources, maintaining schedules to minimize wait times, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic results through skilled imaging and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or RCS from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Performs all phases of diagnostic medical cardiac sonography to provide high-quality diagnostic exams and patient care.
• Collect Pertinent Data & Document Procedure.
• Assist Physicians with Procedures.
• Participate in the responsible management of healthcare resources, including personnel, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain an effective schedule and revise as necessary to retain a minimal waiting period on exams.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Certified or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
