Responsibilities

• Under Radiologist and CV Service Line Director supervision, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures.
• Produces quality images while applying radiation and safety measures.
• Collects patient data and documents procedures.
• Performs all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures.
• Assists physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Participates in Performance Improvement.

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of the CV Service Line, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures.
• Produces quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collects patient data and documents procedures.
• Performs all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures.
• Assists physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Performance Improvement Participation.

Qualifications

• Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible, and must be obtained within 90-days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire and maintain it current .
• Attend a 6-lead EKG course within 6 months of hire.
