Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID, is seeking a day shift, full-time Echocardiographer/Cardiac Sonographer to join our imaging team. The role focuses on performing comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams, collecting data, and assisting physicians with procedures in a high-volume clinical setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring minimal patient waiting times while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARDMS RDCS or RCS certification, or eligibility.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to direct patient care.

Responsabilités

• Performs all phases of diagnostic medical cardiac sonography to provide high-quality diagnostic exams and patient care.
• Collect Pertinent Data & Document Procedure.
• Assist Physicians with Procedures.
• Participate in the responsible management of healthcare resources, including personnel, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain an effective schedule and revise as necessary to retain a minimal waiting period on exams.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Certified or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
