Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician direction, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role includes coordination with staff, patient education, and documentation, with emphasis on safety and timely imaging.

Eligible candidates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus for level II/III vascular technologist roles, with a 4/10 schedule, full-time at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for performance protocols; prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for the exam by identifying patient and educating patient and family; transport patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with protocols and in a timely manner.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes; maintain equipment and supplies.
