Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking an Echo and Vascular Technician II PRN to deliver high-quality, reproducible diagnostic exams. Responsibilities include conducting various echocardiogram scans, assisting in procedures, and ensuring compliance with policies.

The ideal candidate should have BLS certification within 30 days, be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer, and have 1 year of related experience. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
• (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality, reproducible diagnostic exams.
• Conduct 2D, M‑Mode, Doppler Echo procedures.
• Perform carotid artery and heart doppler scans.
• Conduct needle guided paracentesis and segmental blood pressure measurements.
• Assist in TEE procedures while maintaining compliance.
