Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking an Echo and Vascular Technician II PRN to deliver high-quality, reproducible diagnostic exams. Responsibilities include conducting various echocardiogram scans, assisting in procedures, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
• (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality, reproducible diagnostic exams.
• Conduct 2D, M‑Mode, Doppler Echo procedures.
• Perform carotid artery and heart doppler scans.
• Conduct needle guided paracentesis and segmental blood pressure measurements.
• Assist in TEE procedures while maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities

• 2D, M‑Mode, Doppler Echo
• Needle guided paracentesis
• Perform carotid artery scans
• Perform heart dopplers
• Perform peripheral arterial scans
• Perform peripheral venous scans
• Perform segmental blood pressure measurements
• Stress echocardiogram, pharmacologic and treadmill
• TEE assist
• Maintain compliance with ethics and conduct policies

Qualifications
