Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver to perform ultrasound exams and support our clinical team. You will prioritize, schedule, and coordinate tests while educating patients and families about procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Preferred qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
• 1+ year of experience

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competency for department protocols and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols to ensure safety and quality.
• Document results and communicate findings to physicians and care teams.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
