Job summary

One Hope United seeks a licensed-eligible Echo Therapist to deliver trauma-informed mental health services. You will perform initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress with clients and families in home and community settings.

The role requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, plus 1+ years of experience. Travel to client homes is expected, and a car is required. OHU offers extensive benefits and professional development.

  • 1+ years of experience preferred.
  • Trauma-informed care experience or ARC training is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical assessments and ongoing treatment for clients with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders.
  • Develop and monitor treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.
  • Discuss progress with clients and obtain feedback to support outcomes.
  • Provide in-home services and travel to clients as needed (must have a car).
  • Prepare court testimony and quarterly/closing summaries as required.
  • Engage in community education, crisis intervention, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Job description

The Echo Therapist will provide clinical assessment and ongoing treatment for people living with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Assist individuals and families by delivering mental health services that provide the client the ability to increase overall functioning, adjust to home, integrate in the community, or maintain living stability.

Essential Functions
  • Plan and administer trauma-informed therapeutic treatment using ARC evidence-based interventions
  • Provide comprehensive and initial diagnostic assessment of all referred clients utilizing interviews, well-recognized criteria, and program-specific tools to evaluate client needs.
  • Develop treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based intervention techniques to address areas of assessed need.
  • Regularly discuss progress toward goals with the client and encourage client feedback and client ownership of outcomes.
  • Adapt clinical methodology to the client's needs.
  • Monitor client progress and periodically reassess the client's level of functioning.
  • Knowledge of trauma and how it affects development
  • Maintain comprehensive client file with progress/process notes. Complete assessments, quarterly reports, and closing summaries. Use a client management system to maintain client information.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly caseload reports, including outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and testify in court as needed.
  • Actively expand knowledge through professional development and research.
  • Provide community education services, consultation as assigned, and crisis intervention as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary staffing as needed.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with staff and other programs both within and outside of the agency.
  • Understand therapeutic boundaries
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, including understanding of therapeutic boundaries, in keeping with professional affiliations, and demonstrate the ability to perform strength-oriented practice.
  • Ability to document services to meet Medicaid requirements.
  • Ability to travel and provide in-home services. Must have a car to provide these services.
  • Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited college and license eligible.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience preferred.
Required Skills
  • Efficiency with technology, including Microsoft and case management software.
  • Proficient written and verbal clinical skills.
  • Public speaking/presentation experience.
  • A valid driver's license
Other Duties
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHU; required levels of coverage for auto insurance.
