HCA Florida Capital Cardiology Specialists is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform echocardiology procedures and assist physicians with accurate findings. The role involves preparing patients, operating sonar equipment, and ensuring high-quality exams while maintaining compliance with infection control policies.

The ideal candidate holds an approved echocardiology certificate, 1–3 years of experience, and ARDMS/CCI credentials plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Requires a certificate from an approved echocardiology program.
• 1-3 years’ experience is required.
• ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing; BLS required.
• Adheres to infection control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.
• Performs echocardiography procedures for evaluation by the physician.
• Performs QA on sonar equipment and maintains equipment.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and supports infection control.
• Performs other duties as required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays

Seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer who performs echocardiology procedures. Operates sonar equipment, maintains, compiles, calculates and prepares findings for physician interpretation and archiving.

What you will do in this role:

  Prepares patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.

  Performs timely procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.

  
  


• 
  

  Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Adhere to and practices appropriate infection control policies and procedures.

  Performs QA on all sonar equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintains clean, organized work areas.

  Perform other duties as required

  Must read and understand and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement,

What Qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

• Requires a certificate from an approved echocardiology program.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years’ experience is required

  American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing
