Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify physician order and review patient’s cardiac history.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Echo Cardiographer, you will perform procedures in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner. You will also contribute to physician diagnosis. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now!

Your tasks and responsibilities include

• You will verify physician order and review patient’s cardiac history prior to the procedure.
• You will prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
• You will collect clear data for physician analysis of cardiac structure and functioning.
• You will ensure reports are processed and report data is provided to physician at completion of procedure.
• You will maintain effective communication with patient; provide explanation of procedures within scope of practice.
• You will maintain proactive and effective communication with cardiologist regarding any unusual clinical findings or history.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited, approved program in Sonography
• Registry/registry eligible from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• BLS and ACLS
• One to three years’ experience
• Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical skills
