Lutheran Health Network is seeking an Echo Technologist in Warsaw, IN. The role conducts diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies and collaborates with care teams to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging for physician evaluation.

Responsibilities include stress and dobutamine imaging, TEEs, equipment maintenance, and precise EMR documentation. Shift is full-time, days, 8:00am-4:00pm, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience.
• RDMS or RDCS certification preferred; RCS acceptable.
• BCLS certification within first week of employment.
• Proficiency in EMR and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies, including 2-D imaging, M-mode tracings, and Doppler recordings, adhering to departmental standards.
• Assumes responsibility for patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, ensuring proper positioning and monitoring.
• Acquires quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images, with post-exercise image acquisition within 60 seconds or less.
• Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) ensuring optimal imaging and patient safety.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies, and work areas for patient care.
• Documents preliminary reports and patient information in the EMR, maintaining confidentiality.
