Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience required
• RDMS certification preferred or equivalent credential
• Basic Life Support within 7 days of employment required

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies including 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Acquires Stress Echo and Dobutamine images with timely post-exercise acquisition.
• Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and ensures optimal imaging.
• Documents preliminary results in the EMR with confidentiality.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and work areas for patient care.
