Cardiac Sonographer Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures; 2+ years preferred.
• ARDMS/RDCS certification required.
• CCI/RCS certification in Echo.
• Professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Up-to-date vaccinations as required for hospital employment, passing health screenings, drug screening, and background check.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Communicate clinical information and ultrasound findings to radiologists.
• Provide excellent patient care and maintain rapport with clients and staff.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems for data management.

Physical Effort

• Capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, including patient lifting and equipment handling.
• Prolonged standing or walking during scans and patient movements.
