Responsibilities

Franciscan Medical Group is seeking a PER DIEM Echo Technologist for our Franciscan Heart and Vascular Clinic in Auburn, WA. This role supports our expanding King County Cardiology team. The clinic is accessible via major highways and close to amenities. No weekends or recognized holidays are required.

Job Summary

This position involves performing sonographic examinations independently, requiring technical expertise in cardiac ultrasounds for diagnostic purposes.

Essential Duties

• Perform technical procedures with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional anatomy to optimize results.
• Maintain expert knowledge in sonography techniques and general equipment familiarity.
• Manage scheduling, reporting, and filing of examinations.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Process and label exams appropriately.
• Participate in seminars on sonography advancements and provide in-service training to staff as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• One year of post-graduate experience in cardiac ultrasound or demonstrated proficiency in diagnostics or ultrasound preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current ARDMS registration.
• Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
