Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Echo Tech II to perform adult echocardiography procedures including 2-D, M-Mode and Doppler studies. The role supports stress echo and transesophageal echo under physician orders, upholding patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The candidate should have an associate degree with one year of experience, ARDMS/CCI registry status, and BLS certification; hospital Doppler/TEE experience is preferred. Proficiency with Syngo/EPIC systems and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year relevant echo experience.
• Graduate from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program.
• Active ARDMS or CCI Echo registry status and BLS certification.
• 1 year hospital-based Doppler echocardiography and transesophageal experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult 2-D, M-Mode, pulsed, continuous and color Doppler echocardiograms.
• Assist with stress and transesophageal echocardiography.
• Document and archive study images; maintain patient safety.
