Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction at St. Mary's Regional Hospital, with rotations to the Cardiology Clinic in Grand Junction.

This full-time role (40 hours/week) features four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri), with a rotating day off and on-call responsibilities requiring a 30-minute response. Candidates must hold ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography and BLS; a Bachelor's degree is

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; education verified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Educate patient and family on procedure; transport patient as needed.
• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with related protocols and in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; achieve quality outcomes.
• Identify patient needs and communicate with physicians and caregivers.
• Document exam results and apply charge codes.
• Clean and maintain equipment, work area, and supplies.
