Job summary

Medical Outsourcing Solutions seeks an Echo Sonographer to join our facility-based imaging team in Illinois. You will perform a range of echocardiographic studies and ensure accurate documentation in EMR/PACS, with a leadership team that values work-life balance and timely input.

Eligible candidates hold RDCS or RCS credentials, current BLS, and graduate from an accredited sonography program. We offer part-time/full-time/contract roles with no on-call duties and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS credential required.
• BLS certification current.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms as trained.
• Document exams and patient information in EMR and PACS.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, infection control and accrediting standards.

Echo Sonographer Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program.
• Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including: Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Stress Echocadiograms, Contrast and Bubble Studies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) (If Trained)
• Ensure proper documentation of exams and patient information in EMR and PACS systems.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and IAC accreditation requirements.
