Job summary

Medical Outsourcing Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Echo Sonographer for our facility-based imaging team in Illinois. The role features no on-call responsibilities and a leadership team that values your time and quality of life.

You will perform transthoracic echocardiograms and related studies, document exams in EMR/PACS, and adhere to HIPAA and IAC accreditation standards. We offer flexible scheduling (part-time, full-time, contract), Monday–Friday days, and comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and related studies as trained
• Document exams and patient information in EMR/PACS
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, infection control and accreditation standards

Education

RDCS or RCS certification

BLS certification

Graduate of accredited echocardiography program

Echo Sonographer Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program
• Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including: Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Stress Echocadiograms, Contrast and Bubble Studies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) (If Trained)
• Ensure proper documentation of exams and patient information in EMR and PACS systems
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and IAC accreditation requirements
