Job summary

Medical Outsourcing Solutions seeks an Echo Sonographer in Joliet, IL to join a facility-based imaging team. No on-call duties; schedules include Monday–Friday days with flexible part-time, full-time or contract options.

RDCS or RCS certification, current BLS, and graduation from an accredited diagnostic sonography program are required. You will perform TTE, stress, contrast and TEE if trained, document in EMR/PACS, and adhere to HIPAA and IAC standards.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program.
• Perform echocardiographic procedures including TTE, Stress Echo, Contrast and Bubble Studies, TEE if trained.
• Adhere to HIPAA and IAC accreditation requirements; ensure proper documentation in EMR/PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures as listed.
• Document exams and patient information in EMR and PACS.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Echo Sonographer Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program.
• Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including: Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), Stress Echocadiograms, Contrast and Bubble Studies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) (If Trained)
• Ensure proper documentation of exams and patient information in EMR and PACS systems.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and IAC accreditation requirements.
