Job summary

You will present findings, contribute to algorithm development, publish results, and collaborate with a diverse team to advance space/geophysics research.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience developing software in C++ or Python for scientific applications.
• One+ year post-graduate experience developing statistical/computational algorithms.
• Peer-reviewed publications and presentations to technical/non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level independent electrical and/or computer engineering research for SGL.
• Present and publish research internally and externally.
• Develop first principles problem formulations, algorithms, systems designs, and software implementations.
• Implement software algorithms in C++ and Python; define interfaces and test cases.
• Mentor other staff and provide technical leadership.
