  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong team focus.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit systems scope and requirements from stakeholders for use in systems designs.
  • Develop and evaluate systems design, including scope, requirements, components, interactions, and interfaces.
  • Communicate work process, products, and results through reports and briefs.
  • Participate in Agile backlog management and project decomposition.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders through the life-cycle of system definition, design, implementation, integration, and deployment.
  • Perform engineering estimates, guide schedules, and identify dependencies.
  • Conduct evaluations like trade studies, reliability and risk analyses.
  • Mentor junior staff, technicians, and students.
