Job summary

Child Development Schools, Inc. is seeking an Education Coordinator to coach educators across its centers, observe classrooms, and collaborate with teachers to strengthen practice and improve outcomes for children and families.

You will deliver feedback to new teachers, present to leadership, support HighReach Learning curriculum integration, and promote an inclusive, nurturing environment while supporting training and staff development.

Qualifications

  • Experience coaching educators in early childhood education.
  • Ability to deliver constructive feedback to teachers.
  • Comfort presenting to leadership teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, and improve the HighReach Learning curriculum across all age groups.
  • Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, sharing feedback with teachers and administration to recognize best practices and identify areas for growth.
  • Evaluate classroom environments using assessment tools including ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS, and provide actionable recommendations to improve program quality.
  • Provide constructive, ongoing coaching and support to teachers, fostering continuous improvement in classroom practices.
  • Support positive staff-child interactions and promote a nurturing, inclusive environment across all assigned centers.
  • Assist with new employee training and mentorship, ensuring staff have the skills, knowledge, and access to resources needed to succeed.
  • Support teacher and family retention by equipping educators with the tools and confidence to deliver quality experiences.
  • Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or review recordings to stay current on company goals, educational requirements, and best practices.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers that contributes to center morale and community engagement.

Your role

You will spend your time in classrooms -- observing, coaching, and collaborating with teachers to strengthen their practice and improve outcomes for children and families.

Your role

Your work directly shapes the quality of education that over 30,000 children receive every day. You will spend your time in classrooms -- observing, coaching, and collaborating with teachers to strengthen their practice and improve outcomes for children and families. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable delivering feedback to a new teacher and presenting to a leadership team -- someone who is passionate about early childhood education and motivated by the growth and development of the people around them.
