Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Education Coordinator in Sneads Ferry, NC. You will coach educators, observe classrooms, and collaborate with teachers to implement HighReach Learning curriculum across all ages.

You will evaluate environments with ITERS/ECERS/SACERS tools and provide actionable recommendations. You’ll support training and mentorship, enhance staff-child interactions, and help with staff retention and center morale.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching educators in early childhood settings.
• Ability to observe and provide actionable feedback to teachers.
• Familiarity with quality-assessment tools (ITERS/ECERS/SACERS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan and improve the HighReach Learning curriculum across age groups.
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers and administration.
• Evaluate classroom environments using ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS with actionable recommendations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers to improve classroom practices.
• Support staff–child interactions and foster an inclusive environment across centers.
• Assist with new employee training and mentorship for CDS staff.
• Support teacher and family retention by equipping educators with tools and confidence.
• Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or recordings to stay aligned with goals.

Education Coordinator - Sneads Ferry, North Carolina

Your role

As an Education Coordinator at Child Development Schools, you will serve as a coach, resource, and advocate for the educators across your assigned centers. Your work directly shapes the quality of education that over 30,000 children receive every day. You will spend your time in classrooms -- observing, coaching, and collaborating with teachers to strengthen their practice and improve outcomes for children and families.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable delivering feedback to a new teacher and presenting to a leadership team -- someone who is passionate about early childhood education and motivated by the growth and development of the people around them.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, and continuously improve the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans across all age groups
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, sharing specific feedback with teachers and administration to recognize best practices and identify areas for growth
• Evaluate classroom environments using assessment tools including ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS, and provide actionable recommendations to improve program quality
• Provide constructive, ongoing coaching and support to teachers, fostering continuous improvement in classroom practices
• Support positive staff-child interactions and promote a nurturing, inclusive environment across all assigned centers
• Assist with new employee training and mentorship, ensuring staff have the skills, knowledge, and access to resources needed to succeed
• Support teacher and family retention by equipping educators with the tools and confidence to deliver quality experiences
• Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or review recordings to stay current on company goals, educational requirements, and best practices
• Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers that contributes to center morale and community engagement

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 16-19, based on experience and education.
