Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Associate ECAD Engineer to establish and sustain best-in-class ECAD tools and practices globally. You will develop libraries and templates, provide functional ECAD support, and drive improvements via proofs of concept for CREO and related ECAD modules.

You will lead ECAD SOPs, job aids, and upgrades, acting as the main engineering contact for ECAD providers while collaborating with multiple internal and external teams to ensure tool reliability and standards alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with Creo, Solid Edge, SolidWorks and Inventor.
  • Familiarity with Creo configuration (config.pro) to support ECAD Admin.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement ECAD best practices across Creo and other ECAD tools.
  • Familiarity with Creo Schematics and Creo Harness Design for standardization.

Responsibilities

  • Improve ECAD usage by developing best design practices, standards, and proofs of concept for CREO Schematics and Creo Harness Design.
  • Implement and monitor governance for ECAD design and PDM system usage across global teams.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain ECAD libraries & features, including schematic symbols, efficiency tools, start parts, and drawing templates.
  • Provide functional ECAD application support and resolve user queries and tool-related issues.
  • Define and maintain ECAD SOPs, job aids, and procedure documentation.
  • Lead CAD and PDM upgrades from engineering requirements and usability perspectives.
  • Act as the engineering point of contact for ECAD solution providers to report and track issues.
