Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, OH is seeking an Associate ECAD Engineer to establish and sustain best‑in‑class ECAD tools and practices across the organization by developing and managing various global libraries and templates.

The role includes providing ECAD support, driving PDM/PLM upgrades, and serving as the main engineering contact for tool issues and enhancements with CREO, Windchill, and Oracle PDM/PLM. Collaboration with internal and external teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with CREO toolset for ECAD design and standardization.
• Ability to develop ECAD SOPs and job aids; support global teams.

Responsibilities

• Improve ECAD usage by developing best design practices and proofs of concept for CREO Schematics and Harness Design.
• Define and monitor governance for ECAD design and PDM usage across global teams.
• Develop, manage, and maintain ECAD libraries & features (Symbols, templates, drawings).
• Provide ECAD application support and resolve user queries and tool issues.
• Lead CAD and PDM upgrades from engineering requirements and usability perspectives.
• Act as engineering contact for ECAD providers to report and track issues.
