Job summary

Revamp Engineering, Inc. is seeking a CAD Manager to own firmwide CAD standards, drafting quality, and templates across AutoCAD and Civil 3D for PV, BESS, and substations. You’ll lead CAD implementation, develop libraries, and mentor drafting staff while driving automation initiatives.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, standardization across multi‑discipline teams, and remote‑first collaboration within a distributed US workforce. An ESOP and generous benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/drafting or related field with 7+ years CAD/design experience in AEC/renewable energy environment; 10 years may substitute.
• Ownership of CAD standards, templates, and content libraries across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; template, block, layer, and plot style configuration.
• Experience leading CAD implementation, including version rollouts, workflows, and training.
• supervisory or team‑lead experience with CAD staff.
• Knowledge of QA/QC practices for engineering drawing sets.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to document standards and train non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Revamp's CAD standards across AutoCAD and Civil 3D for multiple project types.
• Build and maintain the firm's CAD content library and templates used across disciplines.
• Lead CAD implementation across the firm, including version rollouts and workspace configuration.
• Define and document drafting workflows to ensure consistency across offices.
• Serve as primary resource for CAD standards, drafting quality, and day-to-day tool support.
• Maintain and improve AutoLISP routines and CAD utilities; identify automation candidates.
• Partner to specify, test, and roll out CAD tools including AutoCAD .NET plugins.
• Audit drawings and models for standards compliance and resolve findings.
