Job summary

Draper is seeking an ECAD Technology Group Leader to manage a multi-disciplinary technical operations team, bridging hardware design, IT infrastructure, and manufacturing execution. You will oversee tools, data workflows, library governance, and compliance with quality and security requirements.

The role focuses on optimizing complex workflows, developing roadmaps, guiding staffing and performance reviews, and collaborating with ECAD layout and other groups to align capabilities with customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, design, development, and management of complex systems.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to supervise a 10–20 person team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative details and career development for group members.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate performance of group members.
• Manage staffing, hiring processes, and resume screening.
• Serve as Lead Subject Matter Expert for ECAD operations and workflows.
• Develop and maintain ECAD technology roadmap and data integration with internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with Draper’s security and quality policies.
