Cabarrus County Schools are seeking an EC Teacher Assistant for A.T. Allen Elementary in Concord, NC. The role involves assisting classroom teachers with individual students or small groups and supporting IEP goals within a special education setting.

Starting immediately, the position reports to the Principal and includes essential functions such as managing behavior, providing instructional support, and assisting with medication logs if required. Salary is paid hourly based on NC 05 pay grade.

Formación

• General knowledge of the special education needs of pupils in the classroom.
• General knowledge of the practices and methods used in special education programs.
• Ability to assist classroom teacher in a variety of tasks.
• Skill in working with special education students.

Responsabilidades

• Teaches and implements IEP goals and NCSCOS lessons and extensions.
• Performs non-academic activities such as lunch, encore, recess, etc.
• Outside classroom duties including car, bus, and hallway duties.
• Provides self-help and medical support as needed.
