Qualifications

  • Two years of higher education or 48 credit hours required.
  • Ability to pass WorkKeys assessment or equivalent.
  • Completion of NC DOL Teacher Assistant Apprenticeship Program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist EC students individually or in small groups.
  • Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and gymnasiums.
  • Support teacher instructions and implement IEP goals.
  • Prepare lesson materials and classroom displays.
  • Assist with attendance procedures and record keeping.
  • Support during emergencies, field trips, and diversified activities.
