Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate daily instructional programs for students with diverse special needs.
• Develop, write, and maintain measurable IEPs aligned with goals.
• Monitor IEP implementation and adjust strategies as needed.
• Use ECATS to document data, track progress, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related services, families, and admins.
• Provide guidance and behavior management strategies for a safe classroom.
• Lead and support assistant teachers with training and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in professional development on special education laws and tech.
• Communicate with students, families, and staff to foster family involvement.
