Job summary

FHI 360 seeks a senior technical advisor to lead STRIDES Ebola outbreak response, coordinating IMS structures, guiding teams, and aligning with national and international protocols. You will supervise data-driven operations and mentor staff for effective, field-ready interventions.

The role requires deep epidemiology knowledge, strong communication, and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments. Travel to outbreak regions may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Ebola epidemiology and control measures.
• Demonstrated experience with IMS/EOC and emergency management.
• Experience in outbreak investigation, surveillance, and coordination.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ebola outbreak preparedness and response activities.
• Coordinate incident management structures and operations.
• Provide technical direction to response teams and partners.
• Produce reports, briefings, and donor communications.
